Pastiche House is an Austin arts nonprofit that curates collaborative events that focus on the interface between mediums.

Our Vision

We strengthen fellowship to the arts by building connection between artists and our community, not bound by location or industry. Our events bring two artists together for a single project where the richness of their arts’ differences, similarities, and influence are experienced.

Art is a line around your thoughts.”

Our Story

Founders Genevieve and Brooke created Pastiche House in 2019 after discovering a shared passion for collaborative art. Genevieve is the creator and host of the open mic Drink and Ink, and Brooke is the creator and host of the podcast Hearsay Poetry. Both projects include collaboration between mediums, an aspect which became the foundation of the Pastiche House mission.

Our Core Values:

  • Collaboration - We believe in an arts community that thrives on collaboration across artist types, mediums, and communities.

  • Creativity - We foster creative environments for artists to share their work in ways that honor their vision, artistry, and ideas.

  • Accessibility - Our events are open to the public at various partner locations in order to reach diverse audiences across communities.

  • Equity - We partner with artists of all types, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or background.
